haha interesting topic.. never really talked about this much.
I got mine in 7th grade, the day after I turned 13... September 23rd. A Saturday. There was a wedding that day... I woke up and ran to the bathroom. Haha man it kinda sucked 'cause I was really nervous during the whole wedding reception and stuff. I didn't want to move.

I first got mine when my friend was up a couple of weeks after I turned 13, I went to the loo and I was like "ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! nooooooo" lol, in my mind of course.

I was 11 it was december 1
U know it's very cold in the winter so I had lots of clothes, I had all clothes on, but then I had to go to toilet and woops...

I remember I was in 8th grade. I was always a "late bloomer"-I didn't have boobs until I was like 16. 
My mom didn't give me "the talk"-She bought me a book. (SERIOUSLY)

This thread reminds me of a website I went to a while ago. It had faq about tampons. Some of the questions were normal like "how do I use one," but there were come questions there that had be bursting out laughing like "Will a tampon get me pregnant?"

i think i was 12, i rememebr i was home tho, my mom teach me how to use pad and stuff
i remember u was really exciting back then becoz' that means i'm fianlly became a tennie girl!

I got mine in the summer of 1998, when I was 11. I also had brown spotting and thought to myself; I wipe pretty good! What ta hell? And then I told my mom about it and she said I was getting my period. I, like someone else in the thread, also cried. I don't even know why I did, I think I was PMSing.
I got the sex talk soon after, I remember my mom and I were walking outside of the Medicentre after a check-up. Oh man....
Wow I thought I was the only one who got it at a young age and cried.

Interesting thread... 
I can't even remember very well when i started mine!  I have a bad memory and can't even remember things like this!
Okay i remember where it happened though... My sister was just going to uni and bought a flat. It was her first day moving in and i went to stay with her that night. We were at the seaside because that's where her flat was, at a seaside town. And we went down the pier. We went to a small cafe and i felt kinda weird so went to the toilet... that's when i found out my lovely little suprise! I couldn't relax then and wanted to get home as fast as i could but i was due to stay at my sisters new house a few days!!
Nightmare.
I think i must have been about... 13 or 14. Quite a late starter.
Oh how i wish i could go back to those carefree days!

I got mine when I was 14 and the worst part about it was I was in gym class and I didn't even know I got it. So when I went home I found the huge stain on my well undergarments I never cried so hard and I yelled "I'm cursed" and what sucked about it, it was month after my mom died so I didn't have anyone to talk too about it except my grandmother
