I've only heard about two of their songs in my life, that I know of. I know some stuff about Sid Vicious, but I haven't really gotten into the music.

Well, to be honest, I've only heard a few songs too. I'm not the hugest fan, but I can say I am one. And yup, I do know some stuff about Sid too.
I just thought I should start a thread on them cause they're a huge band and no one else had yet. So forgive my stupidity .

ya know that sid vicious isn't on any of their cds? they had a dif bassist for that, they only got sid to play live cuz they wanted someone who would do crazy shit onstage.

okay, heres leading up to his death (and i'm probly f*cking up all the details)
he was married to Nancy. Nancy turns up stabbed to death. Sid is accused. Sid loved Nancy. He grieved over her death. This lead to even more drug use than before. Sid overdoses. Everyone cries

the only time i ever heard the sex pistols was in an article interview with daniel radcliffe saying that its one of his fav bands. i never really heard of them or any of their songs
