Like I said in that thread about Metallica, Manson just does his thing. I don't think he's putting up a show just to be noted.
And I agree with TamTam. Although he looks like a monster, there's something very subtle about him. You guys seen Bowling for Columbine? There was a brief interview with him. When asked what he would say to the people who were affected by the shooting, he said "I would let them talk."
I really should get the latest album.

i think hes ok. i used to not like him at all. (he used to really scare me  ) but one day when i was board i started listening to one of my brothers cds and found out that he isnt all THAT bad

I don't really hate him, but i'm not a major fan or anything. if i hear a song by him that i like (like the new one!) i'll listen to it. but i don't have any of his cds or anything, and i'm not anti-manson.
over all, i'd say he's not that bad! oh, and i love his version of Tainted Love!

I was actually never really scared of him. The only thing that scared me was that I thought he was a girl, at first, and the first music video I saw (when I was around 9 years old or something), it showed him in the shower with his back turned around... and he had long hair, so I still thought he was a girl. Then he turned around and I nearly died of a heart attack. Ah. I remember that day. I changed the channel a few seconds later.

I really like manson, i'm not a huge fan thouhg, merely because i haven't heard a lot of his stuff, and i'm a bit more wary about downloading lately.
Manson was on Conan last night, and put lipstick on conan to make him look like a 'broad'
