Yeah, I see what you mean. But other than that there can be NO comparison. Britney has no singing talent whatsoever. But Amy Lee does.

I'm sad to say this.... but I kind of agree with you... I say "I kind of" because I haven't seen them live... they were here a couple of weeks ago but I didn't get a chance to go and who knows when they will be back... but I have downloaded an interview thingy with them and she sings and also in the My Immortal single there are 2 (I think) songs that are live... her voice is not terrible but she doesn't have that high pitch that she has in her songs... but I'm not going to completely dismiss her voice as hopeless until I hear her live... Hopefully next year...

Yes, Amy Lee (Evanescence) has more talent than Britney Spears, but when it comes to the CD cover --- c'mon! For Evanescence, anyway, I think their cover art could have been a little more creative and unique.

Ahhh, yeah I see what you mean about the smililarities. They're album covers do have a lot of similarities, unfortunately lol. I thought at first thought you meant Amy remind you of Britney....

What is up with the covers of albums these days?They're all like from the same guy or something.And music wise...the same producer.Hm.Originality these days.

Oh well, it could be worse. We could do a time warp back to 2000, back in the day where every hit song was written by some person like Max Martin. Ah, Max Martin. Didn't he have a cameo in Britney Spears' video for 'Oops!... I Did It Again'? Hmmm... maybe because he wrote it. Ha ha ha ha! That's like dumping the class nerd who does your homework for a college professor, in attempt to personally become smarter. What a joke.
Well, at least Amy Lee writes her own lyrics. Well, I think she did with Ben Moody, anyway. Too bad he left, who's she gonna call? The Matrix? Let me just say... hopefully not. If she does, it's all going to go downhill from there.

She did write the songs with Ben...
It is a shame that Ben left... I really like their songs... I just hope that they continue to write the same kind of music and don't change to something else...
cause I read an article somewhere where Amy was saying that Ben wrote songs more out of imagination (Haunted I guess would be one of them) and she likes songs that are more to real life so she can relate to them...
but I guess we'll see...

wow...my all time favourite band...so gothic...so cool, anyone who HASN'T got their album, get it, everyone who HAS got their album come here and talk about it! 
I love writing and I aim to be a writer, this album is perfect for writing to, there hasn't been a moment when I've been writing Twisted and not had it blaring in the background....practically every song has the ability to reduce me to tears, especially the following:

8. Taking Over Me (featured in twisted lol)

10. My Last Breath (featured in twisted)

wow, that's nearly all of them, infact, just make that all of them! 
Did anyone notice how the songs seem to tell a story? She's depressed, she commits suicide, she dies, she says goodbye to her love, she goes into the afterlife...that's how it seemed to me anyway.

I like My Immortal, and I know it speaks to alot of people, but it doesn't speak to me. The lyrics I mean. Let Billy Corgan be the one who's lyrics move me.
