Good resolution, Colleen.
Sheesh that is way too much effort into keeping myself away from good music haha. I couldn't do it, that's for certain.

well, we're already not doing so good on this resolution. WHERE IS EVERYONE?!
i just wanted to let everyone know of some Josh events coming up.
tonight, Josh is going to be performing in the MusiCares tribute to Neil Diamond. it's not going to be televised, but i'm sure a video will be popping up on youtube before long.
Sunday, Josh is going to be a presenter at the Grammys, and "Noël" is nominated for Best Contemporary Album or something like that. that category is not televised on the actually award ceremony, and the winner will be announced at a press conference beforehand. but regardless, Josh will still be on the show presenting an award or something.
Monday, Josh is going to be on the Ellen DeGeneres show. he's going to be singing a duet of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" with Ellen. clips of it were shown on her show today...it looks hilarious!
i think there's something else i'm forgetting, but if i remember i'll update this post. hope everyone is doing well!

I was only aware of the Ellen show, so good call Colleen! I hope you're well, my friend!
I've missed this place.
I miss all of you lovely Grobanites!
P.S. - Even though Josh only appeared for a minute or two on the Grammy's, it was wonderful to see his smiling face.

oh Megs, i know. we're almost to the point where we might have to declare this thread dead at some point. we keep trying to revive it, but no one comes.
i miss it. this board used to be so much fun, but now...i only check in every couple months, and most of the time there are no new posts. sad.
unfortunately, i come bearing news that will result in this thread continuing to suffer for the rest of the year.
second video, 2-ish minutes in: http://community.livejournal.com/__grobanites/1543870.html if we're not even getting a single until after the Chrismtas, that means we won't be getting a new album until at least Spring of 2010. boo.

I know. I used to come to this board all the time. It used to be so lively and fun...and not just on the Josh thread.
And that is a big, big bummer. I need some Josh excitement in my life. Have you pre-ordered his new live DVD?

Honestly, I am so currently detached from the King of Grobania (which is so sad!) that I don't know if anything available now or what haha. But thank you for that date! I will keep it in mind! I'm not going to pre-order...I will just search for it when it comes out.

And here we are again, on page 2, not having been posted in for nearly 4 months.
i'm going to make one last effort to revive this...please don't let this thread die! or leave me hanging here by myself!
did any of you see Josh on Glee last week? he was adorable and brilliant, as always. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0xiTbzkasU
bahaha, sexy.
secondly, Josh also did a duet with Nelly Furtado (i know, right?!) called "Silencio" off her new album, "Mi Plan." it's really really good...not what i expected, and much more pop than i'm used to hearing Josh sing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vd2Ywu7QKM8
oh, i don't know if this has been in the past few months or not, but Josh has a Twitter account now. he's been giving us a few (very very few) tips about the new album and when to expect it...as well as some good hilarity. he's fun to follow: www.twitter.com/joshgroban
that's all i can think of for now. if you hear any news, please post it here! i'm really really crossing my fingers some old posters come back and get this thread going again.

How the heck have you been, Colleen? Have I ever left you hanging? I had the last post on here before yours haha.
Anyway! I loved Josh on Glee! I am a fan of the show anyway and when I heard he was coming on I nearly wet myself! He was sooo cute!
Oh and I am looking the duet up now. Good news that is!!
I follow Josh on Twitter. In fact, I had to take him off my phone updates because he tweets so dang often! >_< haha

Megs! i've missed you! i've been well...busy, you know how school is. how are you? and yes, i know you'd never leave me hanging. i'm just wondering where the heck all the other posters went...
i'm waiting anxiously for any more album news. apparently Josh has been in the studio recording vocals. i think he said he would be recording until Novemberish, maybe, but i could be wrong. maybe we'll get more news soon. maybe that will bring some old posters back. maybe, maybe, maybe...

Hi everyone!
just a quick update: in case you haven't heard, in anticipation of the new music set to come our way later this year, the JG team has decided to update the website! the new joshgroban.com will be completely redesigned with new photos and pages TOMORROW! if you visit it now, you'll see a preview video.
in addition to that, the message boards for jg.com and FOJG will be merged into one super board.
i'm personally hoping this new website launch means maybe new music clips! eek!

Long time no see, ladies!
I'm sitting here, supposed to be studying for finals, when I suddenly remembered about this site and decided to pop in and see what was going on... you know since I spent so much of my time here a few years back haha. Anyway, can I just say that it made me happy to see the Groban thread on the front page? Hells yes. Even though it's kind of deceased, it's nice to see. That, and we have a part 2.
Anyway, I recently introduced my next-door neighbor to Groban. He listens all the time now. I felt accomplished haha, but in reality it was Josh's lovely voice doing all the work.
So how are you doing?

This lonely existence paves the way For the heart of hearts must beat be brave While this quiet lightning storm Wreaks the harvest gold we tried to sow And so it begins
The days do come, but the years do go Take good care of your freedom, you never know
