Indeed, it does!

I am very well.  And you?  I am about to get into my freshman year of college.  I am so excited!  Also, if Josh goes on tour, which I am sure he will during my time at college, I will be much closer to an area he normally tours to.

Anna, I was thinking of how long it had been since we've talked.  Remember when we first became friends and we had nicknames for each other?  I don't recall mine, but I know yours was Annas Precious or something like that.   I believe we were chatting during the Academy Awards the year LOTR won everything.

Does anyone else just find themselves watching Josh's video blog over and over? Cause I do.

Colleen and Megsie--awwwww, yay for college! I'm right there with ya in the whole moving out aspect....I'm moving out sometime this week myself, and I am so anxious, nervous, stressed, exhausted, hurried, you name it.....life has become so hectic in the past 7-8 months that I'm worried it will never die down! Work is crazy......to the point where sometimes I just can't stand being there. So I am going to try and find a new one.....

Whoa. Sorry. That got out of hand.
You girls are going to be fine, I'm sure.

Anyways, Colleen, thanks for the info about Chris Botti. *goes back to watching Josh*

So I was stoked to hear my mother say yesterday that she is definitely ready for another Josh concert!  Woot!  Now all I need is...well...for Josh to go back on tour.  A Christmas tour would be incredible!

Sorry, random Joshy bit there...

Kate, thank you for the well wishes.  I am nervous, anxious, excited, and scared.  But overall, really looking forward to the experience!

His number one hit, radio-wise, would be You Raise Me Up.  The song I have been hearing more and more on the radio is Awake.

"You Are Loved," "To Where You Are," and Josh's rendition of "O Holy Night" are also rather popular.

i would also suggest "February Song" and "Remember When It Rained." he wrote both of those. if you really want to get to know him as an artist...i think those are best.

Kate, i often find myself rewatching that blog a lot too. glad to hear i'm not the only one.  hopefully he'll post another one soon.

as for moving out, i was soooo excited...before. now that it's getting closer to the time, i'm hitting freak out mode. i don't know what did it...maybe it was contacting my roommate for the first time, but i find myself just looking around my bedroom and getting really sad. this bed that i'm sitting on right now will not be my bed in a few weeks. and i'll be sharing a space, probably the same size as the room i'm in now, with someone i don't even know. it's so weird! i'm just not so sure any more. and i still haven't bought all my textbooks yet, and haven't even started packing yet...i just don't know how this is going to work...*shrugs*

i don't know if i told you guys this yet, but i was awarded an apprenticeship (which is really like a work study program) for the college's student-run newspaper. not to toot my own horn (because i hate bragging....), but it's kind of a big deal...from what i hear, very few (if any) freshman get this apprenticeship. i'm happy, but also really nervous. from what it sounds like, i'll be the only freshman there...what if i'm not ready for it?

wow, so many uncertainties. i sound like one big scardy cat. i'm excited too, just maybe a little more nervous.

Anna -- a novella? that's pretty freaking awesome! what's it about?

I would also recommend 'Awake'. That's his writing at it's best, I think, although it really is super super super super hard to choose.

I hope he does post soon. It was pretty awesome that he posted blogs on my friend's birthday and then on mine. That dude. Just so awesome.

(((HUGS))) Colleen; that's a totally normal feeling. I felt it when I first moved out for my first year of college. There are definitely a lot of uncertainties, like you said, but you grow so much. It was hard for me the first few nights, but it gets better with time, as all things do. Just know that I am with you in spirit, and if you need to rant/vent you know where to find me. No need to feel like your burdening me with anything.....I totally understand what you're feeling, since I'm feeling that stuff right now, too. Megsie; same thing goes for you, too. If you girls need any advice/ranting sessions, you know where to go.

But I feel pretty confident in saying that you girls will do much better than I did my first semester.

Haha, Megs, I totally remember all of that.  The only nickname I can remember giving you was Megsie (which I see stuck  ).  We were so crazy, it was amazing.

Colleen, my novella is about plane crash victims.  I don't know what made me start with that idea, but I did .  Ummm it's pretty much going to be a love story, as only two people survived (a man and a woman) and as of right now, they're just starting to get to know each other and everything.  They both have big secrets and all that.  I have about ten pages single spaced in Word now, and Lord knows its going to be a lot longer.  I think I might start posting it on here as a fanfic soon.  I have a huge thing for James McAvoy now (as you can see by my avatar), so I might just stick him in there as the male protagonist.  You know, change the ol' names around.

And congrats on your apprenticeship! That's great news!  And no worries, I'm sure you'll be fabulous.

Colleen have faith.  I am sure everything with moving out will work out as it should for all of us.   You're in my prayers.

Also, congrats on the apprenticeship!  That is so awesome!  I'd love to have that opportunity!

He also did this sing [i]Remember Me[i/] for the Troy movie.. and I had never knew that he was singing that song. I thought it was someone else that I had no clue who it was lol.

What an amazing song.  I want that played at my funeral, as my last message to my loved ones.

Woot.

Yeah I noticed his MySpace blog said that Josh Groban Live is going to be aired on T.V.  Way cool!  But I'm not familiar with the channel it listed.

when there's work to be done...it never fails. you will always find me slacking off.
so, here i am.  i move tomorrow, and none of my clothes or shoes have even been considered for packing. i'm still doing laundry! which should've been done days ago. procrastination is officially my middle name.

how is everyone? i feel like this thread goes too long without updates from everyone.

oh, and just so we keep this Josh-related, Awake Live is airing on WBGH Boston Channel 2 tomorrow night...i don't really know what that means, but at least you know.
