Hi
I was wondering what everyones favourite song is at the moment?
I have 3
'Please Remember' by Leann Rimes (reminds me of my Grandma) 'Concrete Angel' by Martina Mcbride (written for Judith Barsi) 'Umbrella' by Rhianna (I like the video for it too)
I love to sing along to them. i have the first 2 as faves on You Tube.

'Don't Look Back in Anger' by Oasis
My hubby Mark likes Oasis. I was not too keen on them but I like them now. My fave song by them is Stay Young, off the faculty. And Stop Crying Your Heart Out.

Oh, jeez...
When I first heard it, it was "You Raise Me Up," but since I got the Closer CD, it's now a toss-up between "My Confession" and "Oceano" -- leaning more towards "My Confession."
But then of course, I haven't gotten any of Josh's other CDs yet...

It's so hard to pick, especially when there are artists like Josh Groban out there, when all his songs are fantastic! But I've thought about it many times before, and I have 5 songs that I absolutely love!
In no particular order....
1. For You to Notice- Dashboard Confessional---Perfect song if you're an introvert like me. It's really the epitome of devotion and loyalty, even to a person who might not see you or notice you. It gets me everytime! 2. Build My World- JC Chasez----I don't exactly relate to the beginning (it tells of a one night stand), but the rest of the song is all about finding the right one in time, the one that you'll build your whole world around. I love the lyrics, and his voice is always perfect! 3. Bridge Over Troubled Water- Simon & Garfunkel----I hate to get all religious and what not, because I always feel like I'm imposing my beliefs on other people. But this song...*sigh* it's such a spiritual song for me. It's like a love song from God....it really lifts my spirits when I'm feeling down. 4. You're Still You- Josh Groban--- I know, I know. I'm sure everyone on the boards knows of my love for this man. But I've loved this song even before I really got "obsessed". I was walking to school when I first heard this and I was really feeling down...but...wow, a song has never made me feel as good as this song does. The line "And I believe in you, although you never asked me to."....it left me breathless! It's the quintessential love song, I believe. 5. Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor- Juanes---- He's a Colombian rock GOD! This song in particular is so beautiful and lovely. The music especially astounds me! It's so beautiful! Not to mention, it's in my favorite [foreign] language...Spanish!
OK...I lied. There are 6.
I've always loved Beethoven's 9th Symphony..Ode to Joy...I've loved it since I was a kid, and it still amazes me to this day!

Okay.
I got Awake this weekend, and I now have a new favorite: "Un Giorno Per Noi," the Italian version of the Romeo and Juliet theme (from the 60s).
'Course I'd like it better if it were in English, but hey, it's Josh. He could sing in Klingon if he wanted to, and it wouldn't matter to me!

Hmmm...tough one for me, but it would probably have to be Ain't No Mountain High Enough, or A Whole New World from Aladdin.

I love too many songs to have one all time favourite....but right at the moment my fave is Russell Brand's version of 'When I'm 64'...it is incredibly sexy and beautiful and I just love it.

'When I'm 64' is my favourite ever love song! The Beatles version though... do you have a link to the Russell Brand one? I'd like to check it out - I've never even heard of him!
My favourite songs are probably: -Pressure Zone by Beck -Cool Kids of Death by Saint Etienne -Lovebox by Groove Armada -A Private Interlude (Kinobe remix) by Groove Armada -Fly Me Away by Goldfrapp -Brown Sugar by The Rolling Stones -Sweet Thing by Van Morrison -The Celtic Soul Brothers by Dexy's Midnight Runners
There are heaps of others, I love music! But that's the start of what could potentially be a very long list.
