Song(s) you'd recommend to Elijah

Don't know if this has been done before and if so, I hope it's alright to do them again.
Having said that, we all know that Elijah is simply obsessed with loads of CD. Granted he's heard of perhaps a lot more songs than we have, what would be the one song or maybe songs that you'd highly recommend to him. Better yet, which group would you recommend to him?
I'll start.
I'd recommend he listen to The Dandy Warhols. Their songs "Bohemian Like You" and "Godless" are, I think, just about right to his taste in music.

I would recommend Venus Hum to him at the moment -- I've been listening to it nonstop, and it's wonderful. I think he would like the musical complexity, and the way the melody is melded in with this very pure electronica. Wonderful stuff, and beautifully written.
What song? Well, I'm going to exclude what we know he already likes or has heard. I'd say the Shins "Caring is Creepy." Just brilliant.
Serendipity: Melikes the Dandy Warhols! And I don't know if it has been done before. Not recently, I think.

I would tell Lij to check out "The String Cheese Incident". Or, at least try and see one of their shows. They frikkin' ROCK!!!
As for the song, I would tell him to first listen to "Ms. Brown's Teahouse" for him to get an idea of what they are like.

I would tell him to get Steve Burns - Songs for Dustmites. I love this album and it's the only one I know of that he might not know about. I think he'd like it.

Thanks for the beautiful siggie and icon, Deenan!

Woo, it's been awhile.
Anyway, now I think I would recommend the Fiery Furnaces to him. Assuming he doesn't already like it, that is. Sort of a folk-punk-piano-rock sound, very strange and very fun.

I'd actually recommend a German band which probably none of you know... *lol* Anyway, they're called sl*t (*erm* *lol*) but they're better than their name might make one think. *lol* I really love them, anyway.

I would recommend "Urgent" and "I've Been Waiting" by Foreigner, and just about any Evanescence song.

I think Fiery Furnaces is a very good choice!
I would recommend 'The Late Great Cassiopia' by The Essex Green (if he hadn't already heard it)
