Anthony, meanwhile, is refusing even to say whether the couple got married at the weekend at Lopez's Hollywood home.
A guest at the marriage told a source quoted by the New York Post that the curvaceous film star, who broke off her highly publicized engagement with film star Ben Affleck just a few months ago, was expecting.
Another friend confirmed that Lopez has been informing friends of her pregnancy, the New York tabloid said.
The marriage has so far only been reported by the US celebrity media.
Anthony refused to confirm it when he made an appearance on NBC's Today Show on Tuesday to sing one of his new songs.
"I see where you're going with this, and I'm going to preface it with just saying - y'all know I don't talk about my personal life," Anthony said.
The newlyweds, who are longtime friends, have a lot in common. Both are "Nuyoricans" born in modest circumstances in New York to parents from Puerto Rico. Both have worked in pop music (including a duet together) and film, and become multimillionaires.
Anthony, an old flame of Lopez, was granted a divorce in the Dominican Republic just last week from Puerto Rican former Miss Universe (news - web sites) Dayanara Torres. He has two children with Torres and another from an earlier relationship.
Lopez's marriage to backup dancer Cris Judd floundered just a few months after their September 2001 nuptials. Her first marriage, to Ojani Noa, ended in 1998.
In addition to her marriages, the Hollywood headliner is also veteran of at least a couple of high-profile relationships with powerful men in the entertainment industry.
J.Lo's 18-month-long on-again, off-again courtship with Affleck finally ended in January, after a cancelled September 2003 wedding and a movie together, "Gigli," which proved to be a critical and commercial bomb.
She also had an earlier, longterm relationship with rap mogul, fashion designer and actor Sean "Puffy" Combs, who now goes by the moniker P.Diddy. |

Oh my lord.
So what are the bets?.. lasting a year? I dunno, with a baby in the mix they might last longer, or shorter. 
I can't seem to picture her as a mother, sorry if that is harsh, but I can't. I dunno.

I can't imagine her allowing herself to blimp out and swell up like a pregnant woman does. She might have a baby, but I bet she wouldn't be a real mother. She's too self-absorbed and too intent on changing others.
Ya know what's really sad? I have a fitness mag from her Selena days, before she became a megastar and dated any guy who would shower her with bling. And what's deeply sad is that she was not only prettier back then, with the no-makeup look and sweats, but she also came across as an actual human being rather than a deranged Barbie doll, all plastic perfection but with nothing inside,

Hey guess what! It may not be valid! The US State Department has to figure out if the divorce was finalized, otherwise Anthony is a bigamist.
Looks like this is going to be a fun ride! For us, that is. Not them. I doubt they'll have fun for long.
As a small addition to my prior rant: Shut up, tabloid rags. "Strict" Catholics do not enter multiple quickie marriages that they exit a year or less later amid open cheating, then get all moral about not having out-of-wedlock babies.
*sighs* Upon reading recent stuff, it seems that J.Lo really is, alongside people like Courtney Love, God's gift to the gossip rags. She just gives them SOOOOO much to work with, and I think now that she's clearly addicted to the spotlight, she won't stop until she dies. Or gets aged and reclusive, like Liz Taylor. (Who should give J.Lo some hefty marriage advice)

Hmm...I don't think we can really judge her on her feelings and how she feels inside. I'm sure if she does have a baby, she'll look after it as best she can.

Well, I'm basing that more on her apparent need to look coiffed, made up and couture-perfect on every occasion, no matter how minor. We never see the sort of pics that we see of actresses like Liv Tyler and Cameron Diaz, where they're slouching around in sweats with no makeup.
Maybe I'm wrong; I might well be. Maternal instincts can do weird things to people, even people who were weird to start with.
