I am surprised that there hasn't yet been a thread about the Beach Boys.
Does anyone else like them? I was never blown away by them growing up, but I randomly decided to put on Pet Sounds this weekend... I've been listening to it over and over again.
My mom loved them back in the sixties - I think they fit that decade well. They have such an airy, carefree feel to them, 
My fav songs at the moment are "Wouldn't it Be Nice" and "I Just Wasn't Made for These Times."

I love the Beach Boys! I think they're great.
I love lots of thier songs, but I really love "Wouldn't It Be Nice" and "Don't Worry Baby".

All the stuff i have is downloaded though, i was going to pick up pet sounds the other day but i spent my money on travis instead.

I guess I like the Beach Boys. My mom was obsessed with them. I wouldn't be able to pick out any of their songs, but all the songs you guys have said, I like...so, I guess I like the Beach Boys! Whee!

Isn't there one called "Don't worry, baby?" Or is that by someone else?
I've always like Surfin' USA. I have a few good memories about that song.

Yup, that's by them. That's gotta be one of my fave songs

Ah, good to know I'm not too out of it, where Beach Boys are concerned. I haven't listened to them for ages.
I don't listen much to The Who. Sorry 'bout that.

The firth BB song I heard was Barbara Ann, I think(was it in Happy Days?)
As I didn't understand English at that time, I though it read "Bah bah bah bah bah the rain "
Now I LOVE Beach Boys! I have a collection. I love Good Vibrations, California Girl, Do you wanna dance? (Mamas & Papas version is slower, while Ramones version is faster... BB are in the middle), Surfin' USA, How will I be when I get older (don't remember the title exactly), and Barbara Ann still.

I like them!!! I grown up listening to their music.I remember the California girls' video...*feels old*
Surfing USA it's a cool song , it cheers me up everytime I listen to it !, and reminds me some things , like the day I got completely drunk and danced to that song over a table...
