I was just listening to both of those songs.
Quote from: canadianfan on April 15, 2004, 06:13:28 pm Sean My Sweet Lord- George Harrison (UK) |
Very awesome.
Quote from: Mirabelle on April 15, 2004, 11:28:38 pm U.S. : Say Say Say by Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson Before the controversy, methinks.

I adore Paul but that song...hahahahaha. It makes me wince, badly. The lyrics aren't so bad but the bantering between Paul and Michael? Painful.

Duuuuude! Cheap Trick is awesome! "The Flame" is a classic - one of the best love songs from the eighties. Oh well, your loss.
Mine for 7th June 1988
US: "One More Try" by George Michael
What the? George Michael? Uh.
UK: "With A Little Help From My Friends" by Wet Wet Wet "She's Leaving Home" by Billy Bragg With Cara Tivey
I'm not sure I get this. Two songs at number one? Or is it like "Sgt. Pepper's / With a Little Help From My Friends" where they're played one right after the other..?
But......BEATLES!! Covers, but...still Beatles songs!
