I'm not sure if there already exists a Pixies thread here, I kinda hope so. They totally deserve it anyway!
One the best bands ever!!!!!!
And when I was at the David Bowie concert a couple of moths ago, he said they're getting together again. How brilliant would that be????!!!!  
Come on! You can't be a music lover and not just totally dig Pixies!!!!

I haven't really bothered to get into the Pixies, if that makes any sense.  I've heard some of their songs on the radio, but I've never gone out and listened to one of their cd's to see if I like them that much.
They sound like they'd be band that I'd like...so maybe I'll get off my lazy arse and see so.

Do youself a favour and check them out! You know, they are the inspiration of so many bands out there today. So it's worth getting into.

sorry for double posting, but hey, i didn't let the thread die 
first notes after three songs of 'the breeders' 'last splash'
- it sounds....electricy 
- incoherent melody...
- voice reminds me of melanie c...not a bad thing in itself...
overal....rather negative view.

Doolittle is brilliant! One of my fav albums. You should check it out, I tell ya!
They have so, so many records, you're right. I have 8, I think. I loooove them. I really do.
