NME announced the lineups (so far) for the major british festivals today:
Reading/Leeds: White Stripes, The Darkness, AC/DC, The Vines, The Libertines, Courtney Love (maybe) Glastonbury: Paul McCartney, Prince, PJ Harvey, Morrissey, Oasis, Outkast. V Festival: The Strokes, The Pixies, Kings Of Leon, Muse, Primal Scream, Massive Attack, NERD. T In The Park: David Bowie, The Cure, The Strokes, The Pixies, Kings Of Leon, Muse, PJ Harvey, Franz Ferdinand, Chemical Brothers. Isle Of Wight: David Bowie, The Who, The Libertines, Jet, Manic Street Preachers, The Charlatans, Stereophonics.
most but not all are confirmed, some just strongly rumoured.
So, who's going where?
Im doing Reading and V like always. cant wait! Wish i had the money to see Bowie and The Who (oh my god) at Isle Of Wight!

Aww thats when i first noticed him too. aged 3! looove that movie. he was my first love.. that masquerade ball scene... nyaah.
I suppose I could hop on the train.. but it would mean giving up the white stripes at Reading. And i have never seen them live goddamit.

i've never seen the white stripes either. but i've been told they're pretty dull live. maybe it's best not to see them. avoid disappointment AND GO TO T FOR BOWIE. hehee.

i'll bring this topic back to just festivals in general then.
ROck werchter (belgium) has gotten the european prize for best organized festival. just read that.
I'm going there this summer (hopefully) on the friday (2nd of july) which mean i'll miss plavebo and the pixies and muse, but hey, life's a bugger. on friday they have : metallica, korn, the darkness and lost prophets. i'll live with tah
