lol, I was about to ask that. I have one of those little radio showers, so I sing all the time in there.
Although believe me, I don't sound good anywhere else. O_O I really don't have the confidence to sing where people can hear me either...

I think it all counts. I pick difficult songs to practice with just to challenge myself. I love Sinead O' Connor, so always try to sing her songs for practice. My voice always breaks at the same note; I think that it's from having strep throat when I was younger. I'd love to go to a voice or throat specialist and find out.
Some of my favorite singers can't even really sing, like Bob Dylan or Courtney Love, but they are originals and have something interesting to say. On the other hand, technically superior singers like Celine Dion and Mariah Carey drive me nuts. I used to put Christine Aguilera in that category too, but she is showing herself to have some serious balls for her genre so will keep an eye on her.

I always sing when I´m home alone or when I´m with my friends, but then I only sing with funny voices or pretend to be serious even though I sound like a donkey.

I love to sing (by myself). I don't know what kind of voice I have. I would like to take lesson (but where to find time??) The song I sing best is Dream a little dream of me (Laura Fygi version)

I LOVE singing! I sing everywhere. My family is about to chop up my vocal cords because they get annoyed.
I've been told by a bunch of people that I have a great voice, but I never heard myself, so I don't know. Ya know, because you sound different to yourself than to others?
Well, I can't hit the high notes very well, so this presents a problem for me. I'm a definite alto, and the songs we have to sing for auditions are EXTREMELY soprano, so I don't have a chance of getting a part. I can't hit the notes, so they don't know what I sound like. Argh. I'm planning on saving my money so I can pay for lessons, but does anybody know, do lessons improve your range? That's the only reason I would get them.
I can usually find notes extremely well, I don't know why. When we do three part harmonies for the musicals, I'm usually one of the only altos who get it right. Everybody needs to listen to me to find the notes, lol. The music person said I did awesome, wahoo!
Argh, I need to be able to sing the high notes so that I can get a lead for the play! Anybody have any tips? Or, do you think lessons would help?

Um, i wouldn't know about actually giving you a wider range, but i suppose that the technique you'd learn in lessons would improve your ability to hit the higher and lower notes of your range. Singing lessons would definitely help just in the context that they are there to improve your voice, and there are a certain number of techniques that you do need to be taught, in order to project and stuff.
By the way you were saying about being able to hit the notes really well it sounds like you might have relative pitch or something like. Do you play any other instruments that involve reading music, or can you sing someone say a G if they play you a C, because that would suggest relative pitch, and if you can name the notes when people are singing them and just sing any note right straight off without hearing any notes beforehand, then that'd suggest perfect pitch.
Ok, now i rambled.
