Well, I believe I started this thread. So, I like them!
I like 'Heya' too. I am thinking of trying to buy the CD but I'm not sure if I'd like all the songs. I'm glad that they took on that one chick as their new member because I think it adds to their sound.
I saw them on SNL a few months ago. It was NEAT. They're so strange - I love it.

I love outkast- ever since that song 'aha hush that fuss, everybody move to the back of the bus' omfg that is so old.
But if your going to buy the cd- it's two different Cds in one- Andre 3000 and Big Boi. One is Hey Ya type music, the other is just rap. Good stuff, man.
Edit, a few months later: I HATE THEM! They are overplayed! EVERY FIVE MINUTES THEY PLAY "Roses!" It's so annoying! Why are you going to overplay a good band? Grr..

I've been a pretty big Outkast fan since 1994 (I was 14 ) when their first album came out called, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. I bought the CD on a whim and have bought all their CD's since. (about 6 total)
They have changed, slowly with each CD and their latest one is the most different of them all. Its a double CD, one CD is all Andre's songs, and the other is Big Boi's songs. I have to say that Andre 3000 (guy who sings "Hey Ya" ) his CD is the better of the 2. His is more soul-funk-jazz-r&b, where big boi's is more rap, hip-hop.
If you ever get a chance to hear the song "Prototype" on Andre 3000's part of the cd, it is just great, very soulful. Definitely my favorite song from Outkast, and thats after being a fan for 10 years!

I heard part at a listening station, and I'm waiting for the library copy to come in. It's pretty good.

I love Outkast. This new cd set is great...I prefer the Big Boi one. But its fun, and good dance music. Stankonia is a great cd as well.

Nichole, I agree with you. I bought their album as well, been a fan since Miss. Jackson...but yeah Andre's Cd is so much better such a nice misture. Reminds me of seventies funk! Which I love, Big Boi's is okay...but am not into hip hop that much. But yeah, I do love Prototype, and Spread...lol that song is funny.

Oh crap. Wait...is it the Black Eyed Peas? Hmm...I wrote that really late at night. I was very tired.
I still think Ms. Jackson is an hilarious song. Woooo, I am for real...I can't tell you how many times I've sung that. Really loudly. For everyone to hear.
I like their stuff. It's funky. Believe me, it's a compliment.

You know what attracted me to the Miss. Jackson song was the video! I must say Outkast make the funniest videos. I love that.
