Yeah, Mary, imho The Shins write some of the best, most poetic lyrics of all modern bands!
Here is the latest song that has brought me to tears... it's Michael Stipe (REM) and Chris Martin (of Coldplay) and the song is called "In the Sun"...

thats exactely what i wanted to say,i dnt cry over a song,but sometimes you feel the song and try to convince yourself that you feel the same thing like the singer,or make the song theme fit you,even if its not...i feel like that with Numb~Linkin park...
