Can moderators delete posts? I'm just wondering, because my post count has gone down and I don't remember deleting any myself.

Yes, we can delete posts. But I don't I think deleted any of yours, maryd and we do delete posts that are below the ten word minimum rule.

I probably have. I've deleted a lot of posts that were either not respecting the 10-word minimum rule or totally off topic. And since a lot of threads had been turned into ordinary chats, I'm sure I've deleted some of yours too.
Since the number of posts seems very important to a lot of people, I hope this helps for people to pay a bit more attention to what they post.

OK! I wasn't particularly worried about my post count, I was just wondering. Thanks very much for all your help, and I suppose it is needed occasionally. Do you delete from the random section too,even though post counts don't go up for posting there?

I was not at all worried over my posts getting deleted I just was making mary feel a little better about the whole thing we both undestand fully the 10 word rule
