Forum Skins

Just a few suggestions I have in my head... I'm afraid I'll forget them if I don't write them down somewhere...
Is it possible to make the Skins options available somewhere near the header... just like in the homepage?

Why? People can change the skins in their profile. I don't think it's a good idea to clutter up the header with unnecessary information.

While we're on the topic of Forum Skins, can anyone tell me what the rules are about making them? I've noticed almost all the skins were made by someone from the forums. Do you have to be a mod? Or is it just a pick-and-choose by the Mods thing.
Anyway, if anyone knows, I'd like to find out. I would really like to submit a banner for this forum, but it could be that's not an option.

The skins we have implemented now were all made by members of A&F for a fanart contest. The winning banners were coded and turned into skins by Jochen, our tech admin.
You can always submit a banner but I can't promise you anything as I'm not sure Jochen has the time to code new skins.

Thanks, Cristiel! I guess I may as well try it as not, so long as I make it clear there's no hard feelings if no one has the time to actually use it.
Ought I to send it to any particular Mod, or perhaps an Administrator? Thanks again for your help.

Thank you! I'll do that, soon as it's done. You've been a great help. I'm looking forward to coming on here more- I'm sorry I haven't before, but I'm so busy with school and revamping my site.
Anyway, thank you again! I'll try to work on the banner some more tonight.
