Paypal won't take my AmEx, for some strange reason.
(And I'm not over my limit!)
Once I cash some checks and put them in my account, I'll use my debit.
I'd feel good about it.
And it'll keep me from buying shoes.
Here's my fundraiser idea:
I think we should do (continuing on the clothing idea) general Elijah clothing. And maybe not just Elijah. There are passionate fans for TONS of things on here. (The Beatles, Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Boyd, Johnny Depp, Dom Monaghan....et cetera). SO: Since there are so many passionate fans and so many talented artists...could shirts be printed using designs made by our kick ass A&F artists?

I'm not sure if that's legal. I think the celebrites/bands or agents/labels have to approve of merchandise. Technically, the band/celebrity is supposed to receive royalties for their merchandise. It's a good idea, but...

clothing and belongings, you can... dare i say... advertise(though stay away from pop-ups) i'm sure places like amazon.com and such what can play in along with Eli's career(IMDB? too?)

The t-shirts are an awesome idea! But just with the A+F logo, once we get one, not necessarily with any Elijah stuff, because of the whole copyrighting thing.
I know Cassie Claire, the celebrated author of The Very Secret Diaries of the Fellowship, was marginally successful with t-shirts for them. And then there's www.homestarrunner.com -- an underground fandom that I definitely see merc for on a regular basis. I'll look into the servers for those things, and see what I can find out -- amazon.com might not be the best idea.
And Jochen -- once I get more money in my checking account, I am totally making a donation!

Maybe you could talk to Jen and get her to make shirts out of that thing she made: Ticket to LA: $600, map of stars home: $15, Fines for breaking and entering... etc. Seeing Elijah Wood naked in the shower: Priceless. Do you know what I'm talking about? You could make it and give her some of the profit, I would totally buy that shirt.

MasterCard copyrighted that...yeah, who knew. I only know because we were going to use that for our Yearbook at school and the publishing company told us we couldn't. So...yeah. I personally suggest not using that, because we could get sued.
I'd buy a shirt, though...if I'm allowed, that is.
