It has to be a strict rule, otherwise there's no point in having the board. When do you turn 17, btw?

Well, the thing is, it's the law. We don't really have a choice about it - we just can't offer that kind of material, y'know?
Though..which stories were you reading?

I don't remember the names, but I like Myst's and CanadianGirl's stories. Don't they have a website about them though?

The dirty room was created as a compromise to provide members with an outlet for dirtiness. I'm not sure the point of it myself, but Lucy wants it there.

hm... I'm 17 and I can't read them just coz there must be at least 100 posts... Well, ok. 
but for me it's not that ok, cos I need to work hard and study at the university. So I kind of have no time for posting.  I've been just a reader, now I'm nothing.  NC-17 is all I love. 
Well...but that's cool you guys made such law, for kids not to read it, though I don't understand about 100 posts.
Anyways, thank you guys for your incredible work.

The reasoning behind the 100 posts rule is we don't want underage folks to just create a new username and change their age just so they can read the fics. It's sort of unfair for folks like you I guess, but it's the best we can do. (I'm saying "we" -- I really mean they, the mods, but I totally support the idea.) Hope that clears things up for you.
