Is anybody else not recieving the e-mail notifications? I usually get quite a few, but I haven't gotten any the past few days. Yes, people did respond to the topics.... I'm not that crazy... please help

what exactly is your problem? sorry but i didn't quite get it...
1.are you asking why you don't receive notification on a certain topic? if yes then maybe no one replies to the topic.
2.don't you want to get notifications? then, uncheck the notify of replies box below....
3. you wanted to know if others get notifications too?
that is if htey check the notify of replies box
anymore question

I know what you mean but sorry, i have no idea what is going on. Maybe you should PM Jochen and ask him? It sounds like a technical problem.

Yeah kinda. I have checked recieve notice, and people have replied, but no notice is sent.
One example, I have been getting notices for the Say it here thread, but all of the sudden they stopped. People were still replying and the thread wasn't locked/deleted. Do things like this happen to anyone else?
Do I make more sense?

korndoggies, it's happened to me before. I don't really want to get email otifications but i did it once, i think it was the first day i came to a+f. And it never worked. So i came back to check and there was a tonof replies.

If you click the Notifications tab, make sure this option isn't selected:
Receive topics email notification ONLY in 1st unread reply.
I have no idea how this works, but it seems that if you're logged into A+F, notifications aren't sent via email; it's only when you've been logged out that they show up.
I haven't received notifications on any threads for quite a while though, so I'm not much help.

I clicked on 
and there is a box to click at the bottom that says "Update notifications" What does that do?

*everytime you reply to a certain thread there's a  button at the bottom of your post.
if you click on that you would get this message
Do you want a notification e-mail if someone replies to this topic?
if you choose yes then you would be notified thru email
*now to update your notifications, click on the button at the top of the board
you would see a message like this:
You are notified on replies in the following topics:
Fun Stuff by mory
Activate checkboxes to deactivate Notification on Topic.
reset form update notifications
choose the thread that you want to update.

Wait, they are working now! I checked "Receive topics email notification ONLY in 1st unread reply" clicked apply or whatever it says, and then unchecked it, and now it works the same as it used to. Thanks for the help guys!
