Great news! Marcus [elijah-wood.com] has set up a chatroom for all of us at A+F  It's shared with his site, so you'll also get to talk to people from e-w.com. You can also access it through mIRC - Just setup your client to connect to irc.ewfn.org on port 6667 and join channel #lobby.
Here's what Marcus told me about it:

same time and switch between two chats instantly with one mouse click.
You can also have as many private conversations as you want. To chat
to someone in private, just double-click on a nickname at the userlist
on the right side.
User have the possibility to join as many channels as they want. They
can even open new channels without any restrictions.
Almost every known client, including the web clients on your chat
page, have a taskbar. It shows the channels you're joined to and all
private conversations. You can easily switch between channels by
clicking on the buttons of this taskbar. If someone writes something
to you in private, a new button automatically appears at your taskbar.
Whenever new text arrives, the button turns red to indicate that there
is a new message waiting. |

Thanks Lucy and Marcus. I've been in there before, through EWFN, but I didn't stay for more than a couple of minutes because I didn't really know anyone there. I guess I will now.
