Hey Jen, how come you are showing up as a guest??? How are things going?
Geesh....it seems like A&F is quieting down these days.  Even the A&F boxie only has about 25 comments. I remember not long ago there were well over 70 on the boxie. Kinda sad.
How is everyone doing? Anything exciting summer trips coming? How's school going - for those of you still in? Anyone heard from Shayda?

Hi Julie, how are you? I'm feeling overwhelmed with what lies ahead for us now and dont know what I want from life, dont think I ever will, feeling useless, like not good at anything as didnt go uni or college so havent got 'degrees; that are so sought after, sorry case of self pity here

I'm doing good (: Aww, I'm sorry to hear that  *hugs* Try to keep your chin up though, you're not useless. I don't think anyone is, everyone has a purpose in life. (: It's just a little hard to find sometimes. But y'know it's never too late to go to college...

thanks Julie, I know we all have a purpose, maybe the purpose of life and of every individuals life is just to enjoy and live their life happy today! I know I could go college but don't know if I want too..

Oh wow...it has been awhile  It feels like this is my response every time I resurface here. It is certainly quite here. Seems like most of us on bumping into each other on FB these days. Just thought I would pop and see what's going on at good ole A&F.
Since the last post was in May...I gather not much is happening. Hope all are well!

I haven't visited this place in ages, but it makes me sad to come here and find it so dead (hypocritical, I know  ) - especially now that Elijah has a sit-com airing on TV, I thought the chat thread might be more active at the mo...

Hiya Gem!!! Long time no chat!  I know what you mean about is being sad...it is rather. However, I gather most folks must be keeping up on Facebook, Twitter, Live Journal and other sites.
Life is pretty busy. However, I do miss "chatting" with everyone here. Seems like ages ago since I was posting and logging in each day. Duties and priorities change I guess.  BUT I still like hopping on from time to time.
But enough of the nostalgia...How are you?

I am fine, thanks for asking. (Except that my hubby's Grandma died a couple of weeks back which was sad, but as she was 97 it was her time I guess...)
Everything else is fine tho! And you? As you may have noticed, I have resisted the lure of the social networking sites such as twitter and facebook... tho as you know I'm registered on livejournal, but for one reason and another I never visit there - never did 'get the hang' of that place, duffer that I am!
Real life has been keeping me pretty busy (my kids are both well into high school now - agh, makes me feel old). And when I do get on the net, I tend to gravitate to either youtube or my fave band's fansite (Radiohead, as if my sig didn't give it away) these days. Still, every now and again I pop in here... gotta keep up with the A+F folks and EW's latest of course.

Awww...I am sorry to hear about your hubby's grandma. Honestly, 97 doesn't seem that long. Even though the pain fades...we never stop missing them.
While I have a FB account...generally I keep it to family and college buddies. I have made an exception or too...but don't want to go too crazy. Those social sites can eat up soooo much of your time. So you are smart.
Life is keeping me busy too. Between yardwork, work and summer visitors I don't know where time is going too. We are in our super warm and dry time now. Sure wish it would rain. Kinda smokey due to the forest fires in ID and MT. Hack hack....but we will survive. My chickens are still alive thanks to the super duper pen I made for them. It was designed to keep the wolfs, coyotes, skunks, dogs and bobcats out. So far sooooo good.
I am looking forward to my next visitors: my lit bro, wife and kiddies. We haven't seen them a little over a year...so it will be great to see them again. They are staying 3 weeks. Yippee!
Other than that...pretty much same ol same ol.
How the weather been treating ya?

Sorry to hear about your grandma Gem but yeh I guess it was her time and hey 97 is really good age I lost my grandma at 87 and my grandad at 74.
Aww shame u not on FB as I always on there and I said I would never go on it, haha
