Yea, that looks creepy. What time is the preview on at? I don't know why, but this movie reminds me of "28 Days Later." I'm odd, I know

Um. The 10 minute preview came on about 10:20 on channel USA.
I'm sorry if I didnt make that clear. It was just the first 10 minutes of the movie... but can I say freaky.
You guys are right the movie reminds me of 28 days later, the exorcist, and resident evil. Kind of a combo of the 3. I cant wait to see this.. gonna go with a guy so I can cuddle up to him.. wish that guy was Elijah.
oh well.

Dawn of the Dead is set in Wisconsin. That is just dumb cuz I live in Wisconsin. Jeez. The original is a classic and it's actually good. This is just a dumb excuse to blow zombies heads off. Bad way to rip off people's money. See the original.

Quote from: LegolasBuzzgirl on March 17, 2004, 12:32:33 pm What's the plot? I've only seen the promo posters, and I thought 'Exorcist' and 'Thirteen Ghosts' just from the way the pictures made. (Or it is in the UK).

Quote:| As the United States is turned upside-down by a strange plague-like event in which millions of corpses walk the earth as blood-thirsty zombies (with the recently-deceased that the zombies kill usually returning as zombies themselves, multiplying their number), a small group of survivors of the onslaught, which include a nurse (Polley) and a police officer (Rhames), try to find shelter and protection within a massive shopping mall in the mid-sized city of Everett, WA. What they don't reckon on is that the zombies still have some sort of residual memory, and *everyone* loves going to the mall, right? Realizing that their time is running out, they decide to make another attempt at flight, to a presumably un-zombie-infested island, but to do so, they'll have to get past thousands of zombies in-between... | There's a summary, courtesy of IMDB.com

Hmm, Thirteen Ghosts was about Cyrus and his children, who inherits a house that's filled with 13 ghosts that can only be seen with special glasses. They're all protected, because the glass walls have writing on them that wards the ghosts from entering. The ghosts get loose while they're all trapped inside and begin killing. They have to capture all the ghosts so they don't keep killing. It's pretty gorey (i.e. guy gets killed when his head is chopped off between two doors, kind of stuff) I don't know, Thirteen Ghosts didn't remind me of Dawn of the Dead. I'm not even sure if you even wanted a summary from me. lol

Quote from: Dernhelm on March 18, 2004, 10:39:03 am Isn't this just the remake of the original one??
The posters look quite cool, and I'll probably go and see it as there's been too many 'chick flicks' out recently and I've been deprived of blood and horror for too long.
One question: How can you kill a zombie, if it is indeed the living dead...meaning it's dead - ie. Been killed already.??
Okay I'm done now....
Oh actually, anyone most probably in the UK heard of the spoof of this called Shawn of the Dead? That looks good.
| Yea, it's a remake. Ha, I don't know how to answer your question. Do they really kill the zombies? Or just bypass them to get to safety?
