New Film: The Experiment

Yes, it's true - it seems like there's a new film in the pipeline! A few articles have appeared across the Internet, citing Elijah as having a role in a new film called 'The Experiment', a remake of the German film 'Das Experiment'. Info on the film is here, here (not much in that one, but the poster for the movie is shown), here and here (in French, but it's sort of the same info again anyway).
All that info comes from the main page, thanks to deenan, Primula and Jaramjo.

i really hope the reports are true. it looks like a fascinating movie, and i wonder which role he'll play. i'm just waiting on something a little more official.
i just think i'm like a lot of elijah's fans who want to see him starring on the big screen again. that hasn't happened for me in 4 years.

to use my own quote, there has been the official word i've been waiting for. variety has reported on the film starting sometime next month.

now that variety has made it official, lots more reports have come of it. i'm keeping my fingers crossed nothing comes to delay it like that other movie we've been waiting on for 4 years.

i hope so maryd. fingers crossed the film gets made without any setbacks. seems that this film has been in the pipeline for 3 years now and was put off for one reason or another. let's hope all the bugs have been ironed out and filming goes on as scheduled.

looks like the film is still going on, but sadly, without elijah.

this is disappointing news to say the least, but i hope whatever took elijah away from the film will be worth it. the project looked promising in the fact that it's a pretty intense movie and elijah would have been challenged.

That's so disappointing! And after all those reports and speculation - I was so looking forward to it...
But as you say Deenan, hopefully a really good project has taken him away from it.

Oh that is a disappointment!  I do hope 'last minute scheduling conflict' isn't a film industry euphemism for 'we decided he wasn't right for the part'.
But let's hope Elijah's got something even better lined up. I suppose it would be too much to hope that the Iggy Pop film has got the green light at last?

it's been almost a week since that article (the only one) surfaced, but a couple of days ago, several sites said clifton collins jr. joined the cast, and they all still have elijah listed as being in it. his name hasn't been removed from anything yet and filming is suppose to start in 4 days. i guess we'll see what happens.

That's sad...I was so looking forward to the new project. Now I'm just curious as to why he is no longer part of it. Hopefully, something "better" has come along for Elijah!
