i hope you don't mind cristiel, but i put the spoiler in red. you know how difficult that is to do without reading it? 
i've already mentioned how great this news is. i was hoping DZ would go over well in france and texas this weekend. thanks tony, and bring on the other festivals!

yeah, i know. it would play great here at our festival, but that's next march. who knows? maybe i won't have to see it at a festival. maybe it'll be at the big theaters here.

hey, it's been a week. is there any kind of report from the festival in austin not too long ago? i'm waiting to see what happens at the festival in williamstown this coming thursday.

Nope, unfortunately not. There was nobody from the production present. The organisation just let Tony know that all got well.
I hope we'll get a report from the upcoming fest though.

so do i. so far, all the festivals have proved that people are interested in a subject matter such as this. i still like the fact that a debate arose from the festival in france. 
oh and lookie! a new trailer is up on the distributor's website. there are some spoilers included in this and the new poster art for the film is pretty sweet too.

The poster is nice, isn't it?
I don't like the trailer they put up too much, I feel it's revealing way too much.

sorry you feel this way cristiel, but since i haven't seen the movie, and have stayed away from as many spoilers as possible, i didn't get the sense of being spoiled too much. i like this trailer showing more of the film, and the intensity has been brought up to a higher level. i think it'll appeal to more people this way.

i liked the first trailer, but this one is much better. i realized what it is that i like about it. at the end, the first trailer had music that's upbeat. though, it was a nice added touch, this new trailer's music is more solemn, and the pounding heartbeat is better suited.
i hope a report from the festival on thursday is coming soon. any news yet cristiel?

I have a Williamstown fest report for you from Tony:
"I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Williamstown Film Festival. It's a beautiful New England college town, and the festival was a blast. The screening was very well attended and the moderated Q&A felt like it could've gone on for hours had the moderator not adjourned us to the bar next door! Speaking of the bar next door, I had a great time chatting with some avid A&F/LJ participants. A very fun night overall! Off to Savannah!!"

Sounds like the audience there was really into the film, if they had to be shown to the bar to stop asking questions! And he mentioned A+F! Wish I could have gone....oh well.

i read a report from one of the people tony spoke with that night and they were impressed by the fact that the audience was plentiful. that's very promising seeing that the red socks are playing in the world series.
thanks for the report brenda and tony. it's good to know things went very well in williamstown. now, to rock the socks off of savannah!
