you really have a knack for asking the tough questions. sam has way too many great lines.
"don't go where i can't follow."
" i wasn't droppin' no eaves sir, honest!"
"don't you leave him samwise gamgee, and i don't mean to."
"let him go, or i'll have you long-shanks!"
"po-ta-toes! boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew."
you see. way too many, and i can think of more!

Rose, I absolutley love this quote! It is truly moving. Everytime I hear that line I get tears in my eyes. Sam is such an amazing hobbit. He is just so loyal and devoted to Frodo.

That quote is perfect!!!
And I love this one too: "It's your Sam, don't you know your Sam?"
I cried soooo much when Sam said those two quotes....

I can remember it word for word but its at the end of FOTR when Frodo gets in the boat and Fodo tells him, he as to do it alone and Sam's line is something like
"I know but I coming with you"
I love that one... but lets face it there is not one that is better then the other in my book.

i gotta admit that they are pretty powerful quotes but my fav would have 2 be these ones below:
" I know! And I'm coming with you!"
In ROTK when Gorbag and Grishnk take frodo from Torech Ungol (Shelobs lair) and take him to the tower, and Sam is hiding behind the rock, and he says " Not dead? Samwise you fool....."
And also in ROTK when Gollum poisons frodo against Sam and sam is left behind at the endless stair? When he says "You dont mean that," in such a sad tone that you want to reach through the tv and hug him! But my all time fav is when Sam enters Torech Ungol with the sword sting and the light of earendil ( The light of Galadriel) and says "Let him go. LET HIM GO!". I also love it in the prancing pony when Sam enters the room where aragorn and frodo are talking and he's holding candles. He says "Back, or I'll have you, long shanks!"
Sam is such a loyal character. Imagine what Frodo would be without Sam......

Those are great "Sam moments." I had not thought of those in awhile when I thought of Sam's best moments. Thanks for reminding me. 
I am wondering why under your name it says you have 0 posts when obviously you have at least this one?

Oh I love these quotes and there are so many and so poignant and touching.
Really they make you cry and make you feel that without Sam, Frodo wouldn`t be complete

and in TTT when he goes, "that there's some good in this world mr frodo, and its worth fighting for!"
