I wasn't a fan of Lij till Lotr came out then I started buying his films etc.. I think he is a good actor and a real nice guy. He was so cute and sexy in Lotr. Just his general look I guess..*sigh* I may not buy every film he appears in now though depends if is good or not. So I don't know what my fanship with Elijah is...  I wrote a letter to him and recieved a signed photo!
My fist celeb crush was Craig Charles of Red Dwarf and Keanu Reeves. 
I also liked River Phoenix and would say I am a big fan of him I own all his films and a book, did have more books but used pics for posters in my room, lol 
Now I am married and older I am through all that phase of posters on my wall, etc..I just admire actors for their work

Interesting topic. I've been thinking about this a bit lately too. A few years ago, Elijah was a major crush of mine...but now it's sort of mellowed into a respect for his work and career, as well as his charity work - like Elizabeth says, he seems to be a genuiney nice person. I still think he's good-looking - but I think the crush would come back in full force if he was acting in more films.

the same thing with LOTR and Elijah, I had seen him in Back to the future II and The Good Son, but it wasn't until LOTR that I became so interested in him. Mainly because he played Frodo so well, and Frodo is my hero. I have since become not so obsessed with him , but I am always looking for stories and such. If I met him on the street I would love to tell him how much I admire his work. I have a lot of his movies. I simply love "Everything is Illuminaed" and "Greenstreet Holligans" along with LOTR. I think he's a good actor. That's why I come back to the site and check out stuff. And I truly love LOTR and will for a long long time........... b/c my husband and I dated on LOTR in the 70's.

the first time i saw elijah was in lotr. i has this huge crush on orlando. but once i paid attention to "the guy who played frodo", as i called him when i didn't know his name, orlando was being erased from my mind and elijah replacing him. i looked elijah up on the computer and i found out alot about him. this was only a year ago!! i love him so much, he is so cool.

I had the SAME thing happen to me. I went to the film specifically to see Orlando Bloom. And I liked the Tolkien books also. But once I saw Wood's angelic face I was captivated. He was and is just so stunning. And once I recovered from the etherial awe of his face it occured to me his performance was also fantastic! Elijah's is poetry (and a good reason to write the stuff).

I first started to like him from seeing him in LOTR, which basically just made me a fan of Frodo. But then I started to look up Elijah and realized how awesome he was! I respect him quite a lot so much as that I wouldn't really dream of being with him. (Hey, I'm half his age, like he'll ever ask me out!)

I have been a fan of Elijah for 10 years now. It has been a bit on and of the last year but now im really stuck again, I havnt favorited anyone else during these 10 years I tried to like some actors that my friends have been obsessed with but in my mind there was always Elijah. I cant get him off my mind ever. I am fully comitted to him and I will always be his fan. As the page says Elijah Wood Always and forever, and that is soooooo true.

Wow, I totally love that Deenan! What a great picture!
I was a huge Narnia fan at first, and had a crush on William Moseley (Peter).
Then one day my mom had checked out LOTR from the library, we had never seen it. And I was really bored, and my mom was like "Why don't you watch that Lord of the Rings" movie? And I was like "oh... okay."
And so I watched it, and I absolutely LOVED it, and the first thing I thought when I saw Elijah was like "Whoa. Look at those eyes!" lol. I didn't think they could be real at first. And then I just went crazy and kept saying "Frodo! Frodo! Frodo!" Then I found out what his name was, and started coming to this site, and became a huge fan.
So, I do have a huge crush on him (posters and pix and all that on the wall) but I also do admire his talent, and respect him for that too, you know? So it's kinda both. I'm just Elijah crazy.
