Personally I don't find them that useful as they rarely contain descriptions of the things i dream about. I am on medication in which one of the side affects is nightmares/very weird bizaare/vivid dreams and so no dream book really covers the incredibly weird and horrible stuff that I often dream of.

If you can afford to buy books Amazon.com etc has a range of dream interpretation titles. Otherwise I guess it depends how good your local or school/college library is. Any good library should stock some. My local library is rubbish.

There are several really good on line dream books.  But the best interpreter of your dreams is you.  One theory on dreams is that each object or character you dream is a representaiton of yourself so if you want an example of what that object means sit down after your dream and write as that object.

For example.  You dream of a kitten.  You sit down with a pen and write as the kitten.

Dreams are fun stuff.
