lol! we rock! we're the first thread in the music section to get a "part 2" thread.  thanks Cristiel.

well i think this new thread needs a pic spam to start.

^^are those for me?

i want a hug like that!

lol. someone made a miniature clay model of Josh playing the piano...and gave it to him.

i think that's good for now.

Hahaha!   That is so great!  I guess us Grobanites outgrew our thread!   I shall miss the old thread.  It was good to us.

What a lovely picspam my dear!  Thanks for sharing!  Several of those pics I've never seen before.   *points* Eighth picture down...The crazy lady is wearing the JGF bracelet.   We match.  Woot.  (Yes, we match, us and about a million other Grobanites. )

i like this new thread. it's like a fresh new start...opens so many doors to pages and pages full of pictures!

so this was the first weekday morning ive had off in a longgg time. so what did i do? why, watch Ellen DeGeneres of course!  and to my surprise, Josh was her musical guest!  such a delightful thing to wake up to. it was so funny too, becuase i totally didn't even know! i was freaking out, my sister laughed at me. haha. he sang February Song and made all his silly little funny faces.  i'm pretty sure it was a repeat (though i have never heard of him singing February Song on Ellen before), but it was still wonderful haha.

Colleen--not a repeat, actually! But he did tape it while he was there with the African Chidlren's Choir, I hear. It hasn't showed in Omaha yet, it comes on at three, and right now it's 2:15, so I still have some time! Yay!

Huh, congrats on the second thread, guys! I guess this is just the right time for me to inform you Grobanites that last night I went to his 'Awake' concert in Idaho. It was awesome. We were in the way back though, because even though my dad told us about the impending concert 2 months ago, he only just remembered to buy tickets the day before, so we just moved to the very top back seats of the entire auditorium (just a few rows back from our original seats) for some leg room.

OMG, I had no idea he was so good live... or that he had a real sense of humor, or that he could play drums like nobody's frickin' business! That must have been the biggest surprise for me of the night. I thought 'damn, that drummer is blazing it!' before I realized that it was Josh on the drums. How he can be so talented in so many ways blows me away. I had a great time. The only downside was that I could only tell he was really expressionate by the big TV screens, and I wanted to see his face up close in real life. But oh well. He almost came near us when he was walking and singing through the audience.

It's still weird to actually hear him talk. His singing voice is so different from his talking voice. I love it.

Kate!  Yesterday, we were moving my brother into his dorm at Notre Dame which he shares with two other room mates.  Well one was from Omaha.  Made me think of you.  I was wearing my new JG in NYC t-shirt and the Omaha kid's mother asked me what JG stood for.  I told her and she said something like, "Ah. that's what I thought.  My daughter is a big fan."  and I was like, "Well you know, he is going to be in Omaha very soon."  Thus she told me her daughter told her it was sold out.  Which made me happy to hear but sad because he daughter sounds like a big fan and cannot attend.

Sorry for that long, unecessary story.  Just made me think of a fellow Grobanite I happen to know.

yay, Blue Star! that's so great that you got to go! and who cares what seats you had, at least you were there...Josh's voice reaches the back of the venue with ease. seats don't make that much of a difference in the quality of the night. i should know, my seats sucked (we were in the ones that were practically behind the stage...).

my dad said the same thing. that was the highlight of the night for him (Josh Groban isn't really his style of music. lol!)

JESS!!!!! i guess that means school is starting up again, huh? good to have you back, hun! i've missed you!

Kate, i just checked joshgroban.com and they did announce Josh's appearance on Ellen. so i guess you're right, it was new.
8 days until your concert?  yay!

this is driving me crazy! still no official announcement about Josh's Christmas album. amazon.com says the shipping date is Oct. 9...that's a considerably soon date and nothing has even been mentioned on Joshgroban.com, no album artwork, nothing.

ahhh! Josh is doing a christmas album? I'd buy that in a heart beat!

Yea, school is starting up again...I've also been through some pretty tough stuff lately--the end of school last semester was awful, my family is kind of falling apart, and i got so sick i had to go to the doctors and that was just a mess.

But anyways, I'm doing better now and am finally settled in, so things will figure themselves out. And I'm at least still dancing...YAY! And acting and doing theatre...all of the things I love. It makes life worth living.

I love you all! Jess.
