Forum Changes**PLEASE READ**

We here at Always & Forever know how popular and user friendly our forum has been over the years, but like most things, as time goes on, it has become outdated.
We would like to put to you, our readers and especially those who frequently use the forum, a discussion whether to update it. If we were to update, that would most likely mean a complete change. New software means a new look and it will change the navigation. There would probably be some disruptions as the new software is being implemented.
Would you like to see this change made or would you like to keep things the way they are?

I personally think an update/change would be beneficial to the forum. I've been here since 2005 (gosh, that long?!) and nothing here has changed.
I have no suggesstions as to how the forum should change exactly just now, but I would just like to make a plea  Since I have been here my profile has always been set to Le Elvish Mohawk I use this because it's dark and easy on the eyes. I know that there were several people a little while ago who said they agreed about the darker screen being better.

well, not exactly. it was probably in '07-'08, there was a major reconstruction of the forum. we cleaned up and condensed a lot of topics which use to be all over the place and we got a new layout too.

depending on the general response from users and if the change were to happen, we don't know what new software will be used or what it will bring to the forum. we're taking it one day at a time.

thanks for your feedback on this. we have several layouts/skins available to choose from and if the change were to take place, hopefully we'll still have those options for users to pick. elvish mohawk a great layout and tried it once myself, but i found the lighter ones more to my liking.

Yes, sorry let me clarify what I meant Not much of the appearance has changed other than those added sections and the tidy up.
Also (just throwing this out there) if you others members don't add your own suggestion(s) to this thread then you can't moan about not liking it. If you didn't try to help then you can't complain.

Well I for one wouldn't mind a change I think it would be exciting. Don't really have any suggestions though, whatever you decide to do.

I don't feel like I'm here enough any more to really qualify to have a view, but I'm going to say anyway: I think a change is a good idea. Even just a bit of a different layout to make the forum look fresher would be nice.

1. Make a section for polls.
2. Add more Elijah photos for us to make it as our profile picture.
3. Allow us to add some videos if possible.
4. Change the whole design of forum. Put bright colors.

a poll section and the ability to post videos sounds great. if this happens it'll be seen if these will be possible though i can't see why they wouldn't.
if we get new software, the look would most likely change. right now, on this forum there are multiple skins to choose from, so if you want something bright, there are some here. i hope the option for users to choose different skins would still be available.
not sure what you mean by adding more photos of elijah to use as a profile picture. we don't supply the photos. that's left up to users to find the one they like. there are over 16,000 photos on A&F alone.

I haven't been here very long so everything here still looks pretty new to me! A change is always nice though! If you want to take on the task, I wouldn't mind at all!!
