If there is not going to be any awards this year cause it takes to much time to do. Why can't we have a member of the week or of the month and list why that member was picked. It shouldn't be to hard to do that and eveyone can post about that person and make the winner feel special. Others can post pictures and things for the winner like gifts for just that person.
We have alot of good people on here that needs to be recognized and feel more special for a moment more that they already do.
All the mods have to do is get together and pick someone or the members can nominate people for a week or a few days and say why they want their person (can't be themselves) to be "The Member Of The Week or Month". Then Then after a few days the mods can see whom got the most nominations or pick which would be the chosen one.
It doesn't sound to hard to me and it sound like fun to who would pick you and why too.

I don't know, but that does sound like an idea and will still take time. All I can say for now is that there will be no board awards for last year but we'll try to set up awards for 2007(this year).
I'll definately put this idea to the other moderators. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone.

I understand your reasons, mods. It takes so much time, so I respect your decision.
It was funny to vote last year. I really had a great time, and even got a nomination... hahaha!!!
But I guess we all should contribute in some way to liven up the forum a little bit...

There was no Board Awards in 2006, Enara. I understand your confussion because for me is still hard to write 2007 and call 2006 the last year.
Hey, forum leaders--mods do the Awards this time, if you can. It's interesting and fun to vote.

Don't feel bad, Veronica...I didn't know what they were either. However, they sound like fun! I am looking forward to them in 2007. Veronica would DEFINITELY win the most HP obsessed...hee hee
