wilfred isn't for everyone, but i love that so many have taken to it. me for one. i can't wait until the next show and i'll be bumming all winter and spring until the new season starts.
the most recent one... or two... are compassion and isolation both of which aired last week. i have the shows downloaded from itunes and they're available the day after the show.
i agree that the shows need to be longer. small doses of wilfred just aren't enough for me.

Sweet. I'll have to check those out.
It's just so weird to see Elijah WEEKLY rather than a two hour movie here and there.
Is this only going to be a summer show?

yes, only for the summer. then i assume it returns next summer unless they decide on a fall release.
i LOVE seeing elijah once a week. it's like a date. LOL!
this week's show had me scratching my head after it was done. even now, i'm not sure if bruce is real or not. if he is real then ryan isn't the only nut in the basket. if bruce isn't real, ryan is one of a kind like wilfred said in this episode. i'm leaning toward one of a kind. wilfred told ryan if he saw bruce again to let him know.
i loved the dog bits when wilfred attacked the vacuum cleaner and sniffed everything in the woods saying "never smelled that before." it makes me wonder if that's what my dog is really doing.

Quote from: Deenan (O.L.C.) on August 28, 2011, 09:05:43 am LoL!! A date! I was thinking the SAME thing. It's nice seeing him weekly as opposed to yearly or what ever the frequency of his films are. He's so much fun to watch. And the comedic timing is excellent.

Yes, exactly. Not only with Elijah but with my husband. He likes to watch it as much if not more than I do. One of the few TV shows we both like.

and such quality together time! who knew a disturbed man and his talking canine best friend could do that? hopefully you and hubby will find that kind of time when wilfred is on hiatus.

Awesome!! I watch it in the quiet of my bedroom. All the people I know would be shocked at the stuff that is said and done. I come from a really conservative family. My mother would die. So I've never told her about "Wilfred" even though she's an Elijah fan. LoL.

Funny since I'm surprised that my own mother hadn't banned me from watching it. After Jane's appearance, mom resisted the show because it was so bad. oh sweet Lord how relieved I am that she didn't see the Wilfred/Raffee sex... When she saw that the country singer was the role of Bruce, and Mom was instantly hooked.
... I still don't get the ending either. It's confusing. But who knows; maybe we'll see Bruce again one day! He's an interesting character.

Yeah. I don't think anything would convert my mom. Haha. I so need to catch up. I have no idea what you guys are talking about. This is what happens when I follow this on hulu.

I just finished the two episodes - Ryan & his mom and then the block party one. Tell me, who did break the cars and steal the stuff? Was it actually Wilfred or the homeless guy? I got confused. Maybe it was obvious? LoL!
Anyway - yes, Wilfred is technically a dog, but he's got the maturity level of a 12 yr old! I just shake my head at him.

Question! Well... er, request!
Some weird things come to mind when I'm in the oddest places.
Would it be all right if there could a section in the forum that is meant for Wilfred, like the LotR or Harry Potter? Topics about favorite characters, scenes, upcoming season(s?), ideas, juicy footage, bloopers, music, ect.
It'd be useful, methinks.

that's an idea that would have to be looked into. i'm not sure if it's feasible to make a new section for it but if wilfred goes into season three, another section may be in the works. for now, we'll just keep this going. deal?
well, we're upon the last show and i'm getting a little sad my thursday date night will cease. sacrifice was another good episode. this is the most i think wirlfred has behaved like a dog. trying to cheer up jenna by acting silly was amusing! fiona got some great screen time too when she wigged out on tv!
there was no way ryan would take off to italy, even though it's something that he should do with all the self-discovering he's been going through.
i loved the courtroom scene! and i like that it finally got into some of what ryan did as an attorney.

It's a deal!
Oh, my God. The season finale... I just can't take it. It was so explosively intense!
