What do you think of there being a 15 hour cut movie with theme and credits, it is supposed to be in the works. Dont think they will release at the cinema, too long.

| its just the extended editions put together i hear. but i dont think they will bring it out, you can't find 15+ hours in the day to watch all of them! even when im in a LOTR mode i can watch one, maybe two in one day, but the third is a second day thing. doing that is easier with the individual DVD's instead of one big film where you would have to remember the scene you were up to. |

Hi Ho! Is there any news on releasing any bloopers? A year or so ago I know they showed a blooper reel at one of the One Ring events...but never heard anything else about it.
15 hrs straight? Wow...give me a soda and a HUGE popcorn and my sister and I would be right there. ;D LOTR geeks that we are...hee hee! Of course, we would have to take the day after our marathon off from work. ;) |

I watched all three movies yesterday in the extended version with a friend of mine who never saw them before and she loved them (duh) and it was so nice to watch them again.. it was a long time ago I saw all three on the same day :) |

| I think they would piss off a lot of fans if they came out with something like this; I already have three different versions of the entire trilogy. Only if they released something completely new such as bloopers and/or audition tapes would I fork over more money! 8) |

And I'm with you Romeny... I've got the standard issue LOTR editions, as well as the 4-disc mega extended boxset version. And I know of at least one other extended version out there, which I don't feel inclined to fork out for because I don't think it offers much different to what I've already got. Anything else that is released would have to be super worth the money as far as I'm concerned! ::) |

I'm up for the bloopers lol, I watched all three extended in one day when I had flu, and a few other Elijah films too. It made me feel so much better.
In fact I may fake been sick just to watch all three LOTR again ;D

I wish I had thought of this! I've been stuck in bed for the past three days and didn't even think to pop in even *one* of the LOTR dvds! Of course now I'm feeling better!! |
