Title: 15 hours cut!
Post by: elizabeth coffey on August 17, 2008, 05:58:54 pm

What do you think of there being a 15 hour cut movie with theme and credits, it is supposed to be in the works. Dont think they will release at the cinema, too long.

Could be interesting.. ::)

What, like all the three films merged together into one big one? Sounds good! Where did you hear about this?

Is there going to be additional footage, or is it just the three extended editions put together? DO you happen to have a link to this info?

Hugs,
Rach

its just the extended editions put together i hear. but i dont think they will bring it out, you can't find 15+ hours in the day to watch all of them! even when im in a LOTR mode i can watch one, maybe two in one day, but the third is a second day thing. doing that is easier with the individual DVD's instead of one big film where you would have to remember the scene you were up to.

Gosh, really I am such a fan I would watch them all in one day interspersed with loo braks and meal breaks :D

I would LOVE to watch them all in one day but I've never had that much free time together. Maybe the next time I'm sick...

Hugs,
Rach

Hi Ho! Is there any news on releasing any bloopers? A year or so ago I know they showed a blooper reel at one of the One Ring events...but never heard anything else about it.

15 hrs straight? Wow...give me a soda and a HUGE popcorn and my sister and I would be right there. ;D LOTR geeks that we are...hee hee! Of course, we would have to take the day after our marathon off from work. ;)

I watched all three movies yesterday in the extended version with a friend of mine who never saw them before and she loved them (duh) and it was so nice to watch them again.. it was a long time ago I saw all three on the same day :)

I think they would piss off a lot of fans if they came out with something like this; I already have three different versions of the entire trilogy. Only if they released something completely new such as bloopers and/or audition tapes would I fork over more money! 8)

You think so Romeny ::). I would pay 'aqnything' for a blooper edition of lotr :D

^^^ I would pay anything for a copy of Elijah's audition tape! ;D ;)

And I'm with you Romeny... I've got the standard issue LOTR editions, as well as the 4-disc mega extended boxset version. And I know of at least one other extended version out there, which I don't feel inclined to fork out for because I don't think it offers much different to what I've already got. Anything else that is released would have to be super worth the money as far as I'm concerned! ::)

I am VERY happy with my extended edition too. ;D Unless they release bloopers and new making of stuff....I won't be handing over any more moolah. ;)

Bloopers would be amazing. If they did an edition with bloopers, that would actually make my life. ;D

I wish I had thought of this! I've been stuck in bed for the past three days and didn't even think to pop in even *one* of the LOTR dvds! Of course now I'm feeling better!!

Glad your feeling better neurotically-yours, you could drag your illness out for another day or two just to watch LOTR lol. But I imagine your fed up with been in bed.
