What tv shows, songs, or other that you have seen or heard that has/had mentioned anything about LOTR? I thought this would be an interesting topic.
I thought of this while watching the game show "Jeopardy" the other day and one of the contestants mentioned something baout liking LOTR.
I also watched another show called "NCIS" and the forensic scientist Abby mentioned something about LOTR.

Wow. Pretty much everything by Led Zepplin...Ok mabe just that one song.
"In the darkest depths of Mordor, I met a girl so fair, and Gollum..the evil one..crept up and slipped away with her..her.."
I think it was called "Ramble On."
Also..slightly unrelated but we have a store here in my state called "Frodo's."

Yes, Billswife Led Zeppelin seemed pretty obsessed with LOTR, they mentioned 'black riders' in one of their songs too but can't remember which one, not being an afficionado of their music. :P
Also LOTR is referred to in the movie 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' starring Robert Downey Jr and Val Kilmer.
And a bully calls a boy "Frodo" in the movie RV with Robin Williams because the boy is little for his age! ::)
I'm sure there are many many more references, but can't think of them now. |

well... I saw that movie staring by Robin Wiliams[shamely i dont remember its name]..his son[acted in Zathora] in the movie was short so there were some guys who teased him calling him FRODO...

Oh man. That is too funny. "Frodo". Did you ever notice how many people also name their pets "Frodo". I love that fictional character. Even before Elijah played him. Frodo is the best. |

And I named my car "Frodo" because it's little and cute (like 'Lij) and bright blue (like his eyes). |
