Wow! I didn't know anyone else had read it! :D
I read the book and watched the movie. :) I found both a bit disturbing though but incredibly deep and sad. I was kind of under the impression that the girl had brown hair though...but in the movie she's blonde. :-\
i duno...maybe I'm just thinking things up but I could of sworn she was a brunette! lol |

| In the book it always talks about how 'white' they are. Almost white blonde hair and pale skin. Remember? But when she turned all punky/goth I never knew she dyed her hair. I hated in the movie how her eyebrows kept chaning colours. There was one time right after claire died her hair was nice and blonde and her eyebrows her like a deep dark brown. it bugged me so bad! |

Well in the movie EVERYONE was blonde but Claire isn't suppose to be. She's suppose to be an 'Audrey Hepburn' look a-like or soemthing like that. But i still adored Claire. I especially loved her"Stay away from Borken people line'. I love that one.
Why do you think Ingrid wants to kepp her 'hold' on Astrid? I think because she fears Astrid wont love her. And she is afraid of being alone.
lilabet-the movie just came out in the past year. it's ot that old so no worries! |

| I'm not sure but I think it might be because she wants control over her...you know...she seems like a very controlling person and since she hasnt seemed to have control over alot of things in her life I think she felt that Astrid was one of the only things she could keep in line. |
