Most of my music is bands rather than solo artists. I can give a list and come back later with some links if you like. :)
-Arctic Monkeys - they write some of the best lyrics ever, brilliant.
-Black Kids - really quirky and individual.
-The View - possibly my favourite ever band, they're Scottish and their songs are just so happy!
-The Fratellis - really catchy, love them loads.
-Oasis - sort of a classic band, everyone should know 'Wonderwall'.
-The Enemy - they're different because their songs are about life and money and things, they're thought-provoking.
-Florence and the Machine - led by Florence Welch, they're really beautiful, sort of other-worldly.
-Kaiser Chiefs - they're just great, good lyrics.
-Queen - you can't beat a bit of Queen! |

Angels & Airwaves. They're so epically positive and full of life with their songs. (Especially The Adventure and Heaven) I highly recommend it to everyone on this forum. ;D
Their third album: LOVE comes out next year on Valentines Day! :D |

Hehe, yeah gotta love The Shins! ;D
"Good music" is very subjective... it depends what type/genre of music you're into I guess... but some of my personal faves are:
- Radiohead - REM - U2 - White Stripes - Muse - Arcade Fire - The Shins - The Presets - The Beatles - Nirvana - Silverchair - Oasis - Arctic Monkeys - Placebo - Powderfinger - Pearl Jam - Kaiser Chiefs - The Cure - Death Cab For Cutie - Echo & the Bunnymen - Coldplay - Evermore - Empire of the Sun - Autechre - David Bowie * - Sinead O'Connor * Not that these last two are 'bands'
^ Note: This is only a small portion of the bands/artists I like, from across a bunch of genres... most of which have probably been mentioned already.
I'd suggest getting onto youtube and checking out a few bands that have been recommended... that'll lead you to other bands you may never have heard of otherwise. :) |

I'm new here and it's very comforting to find someone who likes Aerosmith. They've been my favorite band since I was in the seventh grade! I've been fortunate to have seen them live once, and hope to again. I also see that Queen, The Beatles, and Evanescence are on that list. Kudos! |
