WARPED TOUR '04!

Ok, so it was the only one...but it was enough. I guess out of all the bands i saw, Letter Kills were the best, coz they were the first ones i saw...and they were crazy. Amazing.

Billy Corgan. In Melbourne, and before the show I met him. Best.

The best show I went to was Nine Inch Nails (with Bauhaus and Peaches) in Toronto last summer. The show itself was great, the setlist was better than on the winter tour, and I love summer (and Toronto)! I had crappy tickets, but some people helped me sneak into the pit anyway. I was hanging out all day with some guys who found extra tickets to another NIN show the next day in Detroit, and I ended up going with them. So, the whole experience was really fun.

The best concert I've ever been to was the one of U2 in Belgium two years ago. Snow Patrol was their support act. I'm a huge fan of U2 and it was great to see them play live.

The best concert I have been to so far ( and I saw loads ) was Apocalyptica in Tavastia, Helsinki, January 25 2006. Such an intimate gig ( around 300 people ), a stage where the guys hardly could fit on, standing front row pressed against the stage. Memories of that evening I will cherish for the rest of my life.

The best concert I've ever seen...that's hard...it's between two totally different types of artists... Josh Groban and Panic! At The Disco! I guess we'll go with Panic! ! ;D They performed a few hours away from me. Two friends of mine and I went. It was Nov. 10, 2006! ;D Such a great time! Jack's Mannequin played as the opener and they too were amazing. Bloc Party was supposed to play too, but their drummer fell ill.

i'm gonna go for Stereo Motion. it was at a really small chruch, so the audience was also considerably small. me and my friends ended up literally 2 feet from the stage. it wasnt really their concert, it was a series of bands playing, but we only went for them. so, whent he act after them came on, we left the concert hall area and were standing in the hall way...one of the guys from the band came over and we were talking with him for a long time. he told us to stick around after the concert ended (the cleaning crew was there tearing down the stage...it was awkward lol) and we got to watch a few music videos they recorded that have never been released. all the guys were awesome and treated us like their friends. then, as we were leaving, the were dancing up on the hill next to where our car was parked and rolled down the hill and landed next to our car. it was so funny.
i still talk to them on occasion online because we exchanged email and AIM addresses and stuff. they were cool.

the Plus One concert ranks up there too. drove 7 hours to see them and followed them out to their tour bus...got yelled at by a security guard and ended up meeting everyone in the group. we told one of the lead singers how far we traveled and he said we deserved a special treat...he gave us a tour of their tour bus. omg, it was so awesome. haha
Stereo Motion was at that concert too, but that was before i liked them. actually, that concert was the reason i started to like them.

two best concerts ever. i havent had as much luck since then...i got autographs from quite a few others, but i never got to talk to them longer than 5 minutes. *shrugs*

I think the best I've been to is a New Zealand band called Salmonella Dub - I've seen them twice, they're just amazing live and the crowd is always dancing, and they're possibly the nicest crowd ever. A close runner-up would be the (International) Noise Conspiracy at Livid Festival.

ok, so last night i went to The Fray concert. wow. no words. none. it was amazing. the opening band was Mutemath...they are basically my new favorite. if The Fray wasnt so awesome (and headlining), i think Mutemath might have stolen the show. they were crazy and jumping all over the place. the lead singer at one point was doing handstands on his keyboard, the drummer duct taped his headphones to his head, the gutarist threw the guitar in the air, and everything was crazy! ah, it was so awesome. and The Fray...well, they're just The Fray...they rock. so much funnn!!!!

Without a doubt it has to be Nick Cave in January 2006. He was performing with a different touring band not the Bad Seeds. It simply blew me away. Also had great seats and could see everything.

This is way OT because it isn't music but I usually don't like big crowds...I suffer from social phobia and can't leave my flat alone...which is why I haven't worked for ages. I was able to just about cope because I had my sister with me and I knew it was seats not standing and pushing.

I am going to see Russell soon and even though I love him I am really nervous about going due to the whole public thing...I even thought about cancelling but managed to talk myself out of it.

I do not mind going out of my house, things like that. Just not keen on big crowds of people, smaller crowds I can stand.

That's a shame about your social phobia. I feel really sorry for you :-*

This is a good question. I would have to narrow i between Panic! at the Disco, Clay Aiken, and Josh Groban. I think Josh wins. It is such an uplifting experience every time I see him. I saw him back in '05 I think it was, and again in March this year. I get to see him July 17th too. He is so amazing! I highly recommend a Josh Groban concert to everyone. :-*

Spreading the Josh....that's what I like to see!

I've only been to two concerts, sadly, as I get so pumped....good music playing loudly pretty much beats everything...well, almost. ;)

The best one I think was the Paul McCartney concert....even though we were in the last row possible....but I guess we were lucky to even be there, as tickets went in a matter of minutes!

But....honestly, I think the Josh Groban in August will top both of them....:) I'm very excited. :)

last night i went to Josh Groban's concert. holy poo, voice of an angel doesn't even do him justice. he's just amazing. amazing! amazingamazingamazingamazingamazingamazing...

i love him even more than i did before. :-* it was definitely the best concert i have been to...partly because it was Josh Groban alone. his voice is what made the concert awesome, not the flashing lights and visuals (though those were incredible as well).

I've been to 3 real concerts in my life-Usher, and 2 Hanson concerts. The best concert I've been to...I'll have to say was my FIRST Hanson concert back in March of this year. That's ONLY because of some outside circumstances that happened before my 2nd concert (last month) that made it a bit less enjoyable. :'( But if I remove all outside circumstances, BOTH Hanson concerts were absolutely awesome. 8) 8) I'm going to see them again in September. ;D

Metallica, Breed 77, U2, Gogol Bordello and Alter Bridge not necessarily in that order!

Ive seen Metallica several times, but the best was at the 2006 Download rock festival. The atmosphere and crowd participation at a Metallica gig is always awesome like a football match, but without the violence! ;)

Breed 77 Ive seen them several times too, but the last time was in April at this really tiny gig in Peterborough (UK). I went with one of my daughters, and as we opened the door to go in, the band came out! We were so shocked we only managed surprised Hi!s, but the gig was so intimate they waved at us later from the stage made my daughters day! :)

U2 I saw them quite few years ago now, at the Birmingham NEC (UK) I cant remember the year. The sound mix wasnt quite right and sometimes drowned out Bono which was a great shame, but it was still fantastic to see them live.

Gogol Bordello Rock City, Nottingham (UK), July 2006. Somewhat memorable for me ;) and the gig itself was just brilliant. I swear its a physical impossibility not to enjoy yourself when listening to them and Ive already got tickets to see them again in December woohoo!!

Alter Bridge Rock City again, December 2005. Their singer, Myles Kennedy, has the best live vocals of anyone Ive heard and the musicianship is stunning.

Josh Groban.

Hands down.

OK...call me crazy, but you know how celebs (I hate calling him that...he's BETTER than just a 'celeb') all look different in pictures than in person? NOT the case with Josh.....even more handsome and his voice is even more amazing live.....holy cow.....

He's just great.

I only went to two concerts: Live Earth and Jimmy Eat World and I had a blast at both. Though Live Earth was huge and I saw so many cool bands I have to say it is still a tie, because I love JEW and I was really close to the stage (which made it even better) while I was way back at Live Earth.

You might find this hard to believe, but the best concert I've been to so far is...

"Weird Al" Yankovic.

He's not just funny; he's also an amazing musician, and he puts on an incredible show.

And I say "so far" because I haven't been to a Josh Groban concert yet. Why the heck won't he come to Birmingham? The closest he ever comes is Atlanta, and I just can't afford to drive that far.

In December of this year, it would make a mark of six years ago where my best friend and I had the greatest Christmas present of our lives. Our mothers got us tickets and dogtags to the last All-American Rejects concert of December 2006 at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO.

Met the band members before the show. My mother told Tyson Ritter (lead vocalist) about my brother being in the moshpit a few days back (he attended on the 17th, I think -- we went to ours on the 21st)... he also asked where we were from.

Took pictures with all of them.

The concert was a blast. And it was my first. (also it was the introduction to the hit band, Boys Like Girls) The Rejects wore TUXES. and at the end of the show, they were throwing wrist bands and t-shirts. My best friend ended up catching the latter by grabbing Ty's attention, and a young man (probably mid twenties or so) walked up to him and said, "DUDE, YOU'RE THE COOLEST KID EVER!"

So... yeah. Best concert ever. ;D
